BBQ Chicken Wings

Here's a way to spice up your same old chicken wings. This dish always gets rave reviews from guests and our customers.
Makes approximately 25 wings | Prep time: 15 min | Cook time: 20 - 25 min
Ingredients:
Directions
  1. Marinade: Mix together Jaswant’s Kitchen Tandoori Masala, Jaswant’s Kitchen Tadka Masala, yogourt, salt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, oil, chillies and coriander.

  2. Add chicken wings and marinate for 1 hour or for best results overnight.

  3. Preheat BBQ on high heat until hot.

  4. Rub the grates with cooking oil and cook the wings on low heat or indirect heat (turn off the set of burners where you are cooking the wings and keep other burners on high) to avoid flare-ups.

  5. Turn wings occasionally, until the chicken is browned and no longer pink on the inside, 20 to 25 minutes.

  6. Optional final step for extra flavour: Once wings are cooked toss them gently with mixture of garam masala and mango powder.

This marinade would be perfect for larger pieces of chicken as well (drumsticks and thighs).

Serve with coriander or mint chutney and enjoy!

Best Wings Ever

We loved the wings both on the BBQ and cooked in the oven.

S.K,
OMG!!!

For anyone looking to cook home made wings like you can get at a restaurant, this receipe is a must! As advertised it tastes best if marinaded overnight (but also great if you can’t wait that long). Third time I made this, I added a bit more heat for family members that rely on spicy foods (siracha sauce). As a cool twist, I also tried this with culiflower steams to include my vegetarian family and friends - hugh hit! Apparently I’m a gourmet chef, thank you Jaswant’s kitchen for my new found family status;)

delicious!

This was so simple and delicious. I made it for a dinner party and substituted boneless chicken thighs for wings. The result was fantastic, moist and just the perfect amount of spice. I served it with a mango salsa and will definitely make this again. So easy!
